SMS Library Announcements Library Books Due!All Library Books ARE DUE!
Battle of the BooksThe Battle of the Books competition was held at Gayle Middle School on March 27. Coming out of the first round (four matches), our SMS team was in second place. In the semi-finals, we lost a tough match with H.H.Poole, who won the Championship. Congratulations to our team members -- Joey H., Ireland T., Dorothy C., Emma M., Amanda M., Mary F., Reid L., Peter A., Preston M., and Emma D.!! They represented our school well.
A big THANK YOU to our parents who volunteered at the competition and who came to support our team! And a very special THANK YOU to the McElwain family for donating our team tee-shirts!
